Pachmanee’s vision for health and wellness was first realized when she worked for The Baan Thai Wellness Retreat in Bangkok, where she gained a wealth of proficiency in creating healthy and delightful dishes, as well as playing a key role in opening and establishing the new outlet in the market. She also worked as a Sous Chef at Tenface Bangkok Hotel for six years, where she was in charge of managing all kitchen activities and maintaining health and safety standards demanded by the hotel in both service and operations.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August 2017: In celebration of Global Women’s Equality Day on 26th August, The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel announces its partnership with Evolvin’ Women, a UAE social enterprise that forms part of the UN WOMEN task-force for women’s empowerment initiatives in the Middle East.
The partnership will entail a roundtable series focused on women’s empowerment and driving women in business within hospitality in the region. The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel and Evolvin’ Women aim to support the seven Women’s Empowerment Principals (WEPs) set by UN WOMEN, and provide guidance to businesses on how to employ women in the workplace, marketplace and community.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 30, 2017: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel Hotel, the first holistic health and wellness resort in the Middle East with an aim to drive wellness tourism in the region.
This collaboration is in line with the vision of the Dubai Health Experience, which is overseen and implemented by the DHA. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shaikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman.
DXH was launched in April 2016 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, as a continuation of ‘Dubai, a Global Destination for Medical Tourism’ project. DXH is a highly integrated programme that aims to promote Dubai as a global centre for the provision of medical tourism services with a target of attracting half a million international patients by 2020. It is estimated that numbers will increase around 13% per year and that by 2021 over 1.3 million medical tourists will visit Dubai.
